In 2023 after 10+ years as an A&P mechanic and 6+ years as an IA I decided I wanted to start my own aviation maintenance company with a strong focus in preservation and education of general aviation. This was not a decision I made lightly. In my career I’ve had the opportunity to travel with and maintain warbirds like the P51, T6, B25 and my favorite the AD5 Skyraider. I’ve worked for flight schools, FBOs, a cherry drying operation utilizing radial engine Sikorsky helicopters and general maintenance shops. I’ve had a hand in coordinating aircraft recoveries post accident and middle of the night phone calls to rescue stranded aircraft. All of that to say i’ve gained experience across many facets of aviation and all of it has led me to this ultimate decision of building a business around owner assist annuals, maintenance and prepurchase evaluations. My business is guided by a desire to teach and pass on the knowledge I have gained over the years to help combat the rising costs of aviation and educate owners/pilots so they can better understand their aircraft.

HQAS is a one woman band and I am here to help you with your aviation needs. HQAS has a hangar based at KRIU but traveling for a job is not out of the question.
